This is a Fine Copy of this Book in Publisher's green cloth with bright and vibrant black title lettering to spine and upper cover,in a Very Good Dust-Jacket,with a little darkening to the spine and front cover,slight dustiness to the white of the rear panel and along the edges of the rear inner flap of the dust-jacket.There is some modest rubbing along the outer edges of the dust-jacket and with one small chip of 6mm to the base of spine,couple of miniscule nicks to the wrapper along top edge of the front cover and corners.However given that this is a very early and rare Bunter title it has survived remarkably well.Not price clipped with publisher price of 7s 6d net showing to the front flap.This copy has NO previous inscriptions present inside the book with just one faint owner's name to the top edge of the rear dust-jacket.The binding remains firm with no hinge weakness,no turned corners to the pages.Contents remain nice and clean internally.illustrated by R.J. Macdonald with a coloured frontispiece and several b&w drawings.Lovely clean tight copy for the collector and certainly uncommon in this collectable condition with just a few small foxing spots to the fore-edge of the book.The dust-jacket is now well protected in a removable cover sleeve.8vo 237pp + 4pp of ads to rear of the book.First Edition 1st Impression [1951].
