John Tepper Marlin is the President and Managing Member of Boissevain Books. He is an accomplished economist as well as a prolific writer. He has served as the Chief Economist for the City of New York and as an economist for the Federal Reserve Board, FDIC, and Congressional Committee Staff. He frequently writes on economic issues as well as other media outlets, including the Huffington Post, and has written or edited ten books published by HarperCollins, Wiley, the Free Press, Greenwood Press, and MasterMedia. John is a graduate of Harvard College cum laude and Oxford University, and earned his Ph.D. in economics from The George Washington University in Washington, DC.
