A propos de cet article
New York: Grosset & Dunlap, 1964. First Edition Thus. Joyce crafted this short story in the form of a letter to his grandson written in 1936 and reprinted in book form by Grosset & Dunlap with illustrations by Richard Erdoes. A fanciful tale of building a bridge over the Loire in the medieval town of Beaugency. The bridge still exists. A very good copy in yellow boards with black spine lettering, square and tight, with a few pen marks on the front free endpaper, otherwise fine. The book is housed in a very good dustwrapper with slight loss of material at the spine ends and a few inconsequential chips, with the original price ($3.50) on the inside front flap.
