Betti (Mangona di Mugello 1784 - Firenze 1863) fu sovrintendente della Scuola medica fiorentina e successivamente, consultore della sanità per la Toscana. Lavorò nell'Arcispedale fiorentino di Santa Maria Nuova, dove nel 1824 gli venne assegnato l'insegnamento delle istituzioni chirurgiche. Nel 1834, e poi nel 1854, scoppiato il colera in Toscana, fu nominato responsabile di tutti i lazzaretti della regione. Non comune. (Rif.ms. 07/0015). N° de réf. du vendeur 000130
