TITLE CONTINUED: With an Account of the preparing and refining such Metals and Minerals as are gotten in England, augmented with many hundred of words, observations, letters etc. SECOND EDITION 1691. 12mo, approximately 150 x 80 mm, 6 x 3 inches, pages: [22], 1-211, [5] - A Catalogue of some books Printed for Christopher Wilkinson in Fleetstreet, contempory calf covers rebacked to match, gilt lettered green label, author's gilt name and gilt rules to spine between raised bands, new brown endpapers, original endpapers front and rear still present. Covers have speckled wear and light scratches, pages tightly bound, all text legible, pale stain with faint tide marks affecting 5 leaves in preface, pale age-browning affecting first half of the text, armorial bookplate of Charles Lilburn to first free endpaper, and bookplate of Richard Draper on first pastedown and his ink name on title page, occasional tiny ink note in margins. A good copy.
