First Edition (Number Line to 1). Once listed, I believe this will be the Only copy for sale with its dust jacket. I'm not sure where these other books are coming from, why they do not have their dust jackets. Both the book and dust jacket are in excellent condition. You can see the covers of the book in the photos. They are exceptionally clean. I don't see any soiling at all. The gilt lettering on the spine is nicely bright. The spine looks very good with just a trifle of crinkling at the bottom edge. The cover edges are in very good shape with one little dent on the rear top edge. The cover corners are in excellent shape, no rubbing on either. The book is square and the spine is straight. The book is very solidly bound from cover to cover with nicely tight pages throughout and nicely tight covers as well. The pages are exceptionally clean. I'm not finding any soiling at all. They appear to be in perfect condition. I don't see any creasing. There are no markings. No attachments of any kind. And no one has written their name or anything else anywhere. The dust jacket is also in excellent condition. It is perfectly clean. There are no tears. There is a light crease just below the front top edge adjacent to the spine. The white flaps are in excellent condition. They're perfectly clean. I don't see any wear. The jacket is not priced or clipped. It will be fitted with a protective cover after the photos are scanned. In the third photo you should be able to read reviews of the book.…

A great deal has been learned about serious child and adolescent conduct problems, but their causes are still not well understood. This book brings together an international group of leading authorities to advance specific, testable hypotheses about the causes of conduct disorder and juvenile delinquency. Four general causal models are delineated: the social learning model, the developmental pathways model, an integrative antisocial propensity model, and an integrative ecological/developmental model. Also provided are models focusing on specific aspects of the origins of conduct problems, including contextual, psychological, and biological influences. The authors present significant, original theoretical work and map out the kinds of further studies needed to confirm or disconfirm their new or revised hypotheses.

Most often I would expect my book to be the least expensive option on the Internet taking into account an appropriate comparison(what is the condition, is the dust jacket present, is the book signed, is it a first printing, etc.). More important than selling the book I want to make sure that you know, as much as is possible, exactly what you are getting. To that end, you'll notice that my descriptions of condition tend to be lengthy, and that there will always be photographs to help you draw your own conclusions. Please feel free to contact me with any questions about a given book. As regards international shipping, the first class or standard rates I charge are based on a package weight between 2 and 3 pounds. If the book is on the thin side there is a possibility that I can securely pack it up under 2 pounds in weight. If so, the shipping price will drop by around $11.00 or $12.00 to $26.00-27.00. Canada, which is less expensive drops to $18.00. You can contact me before purchasing a book for an estimate on the shipping cost. If you buy the book and it weighs in below 2 pounds you'll get a Reduced Shipping message and amount with the invoice and you'll see the lowered final cost before you make your payment.…
