Red cloth boards very good, (an imperfection when published, a darkened thread) other than this the red cloth boards are very nice. The book has mustard end papers. Faint lean forward. A dark chocolate stain to the top edge of the pages. Five lines of printing information on the colophon page, a second state. Includes oompa-loompa on page 73 and illustration on page 72, removed in later editions. No isbn on the back of the dust jacket which means issued late in 1964. The dust jacket is not price clipped and has some inch tears to the top and bottom of the spine and has a taped two inch tear to the inside of the front dust jacket flap.
