Codex Max, Maximilians Bayerisches Zivilgesetzbuch (CMBC), verfasst von dem Juristen Wigulaeus Xaverius Aloysius von Kreittmayr (1705-1790), trat 1756 in Kraft und galt bis zur Einführung des Bürgerlichen Gesetzbuches Anfang 1900. - .
