Includes articles on The Chap Book, Beowulf Codex, Punch Cutting, "The Scythian Wonder" (herbals that claimed lambs were born of plants), a history and bibliography of Bentley's Standard Novel Series by Michael Sadleir, etc. Also a double-page pen, ink and wash drawing, "One Fine Morning" by Max Beerbohm. Designs by Boris Artzybasheff. Among the other contributors are Walter Hart Blumenthal, and Robinson Jeffers on his early books. Bound in the original color pictorial boards. . First Edition, Limited 3,000 copies. Hardcover. Near Fine condition/No dust jacket. Illus. by Beerbohm, Max (drawing). 8.5" wide by 10.75" tall. Great Packaging, Fast Shipping.
