A propos de cet article

First Edition. Clean and tidy buckram boards with gilt titles and the design of the Passionists to the front board. This commentary was a supplement to the work "Convent Life" by the same author. Inside, it is clean and tidy, with darkening to the first and last few pages only. 36 pages. The English translation of the decree is given first. Conforms to WorldCat / OCLC: 14223257. The decree Quemadmodum, issued by Pope Leo XIII on December 17, 1890, addressed the practice of the "manifestation of conscience" within religious orders. This practice involved members revealing the state of their conscience to their superiors for spiritual guidance and governance. The decree marked a shift in canon law by safeguarding individual freedom within religious life and curbing potential abuses of authority by superiors. 18.5cm x 13cm. .
