First edition hardback in dustwrapper. VG+ in original publisher's light purple cloth with white lettering ( very slightly rubbed on spine) and front. Edges dusty, feint foxing to endpapers,otherwise clean and bright internally, with superb Ravilious b/w illustrations in text. in rare dustwrapper with superb vignette to front. Overall VG showing some rubbing to spine and edges, some dustiness to covers. minor chipping and rubbing to corners, small tears to spine edges. Nevertheless a very pleasing example of this scarce Ravilious item. The dustwrapper is housed in protective removable sleeve. WPH 15425. N° de réf. du vendeur 15425
