1961. First Edition. 280 pages. Illustrated dust jacket over grey cloth boards. Gilt lettering. Contains black and white and colour illustrations and plates. Clean pages, plates and illustrations with light tanning and mild foxing throughout. More pronounced to free endpapers and paste-downs. Pencil markings to back free endpaper. Binding remains firm. Boards have mild edge wear with slight rubbing to surfaces and bumping to corners. Moderate tanning to spine and edges with crushing to spine ends. Gilt lettering is darkened. Visible wear marks to boards. Unclipped jacket. Panels and spine have light edgewear with tears and creases. Minor loss to spine and edges. Moderate tanning and wear marks to flaps, panels and spine. Hard Cover. Etat : Good+. Etat de la jaquette : Fair. First Printing. Light grey boards that have darkened around the edges, and moreso along the spine. Gold gilt lettering on spine. Endpapers show and industrial scene, and seafaring ships in an aerial view photograph in shades of light grey. Text is in immaculate condition, with a few photographs, both black and white and colour. Dust jacket is grey, with an ornate text box of sorts in white, with black lettering. Front book flap is completely detached, but with the book. Photo of Lord Beaverbrook by Anthony Armstrong Jones on the back of jacket. Chiped around edges, with a wee tear bottom middle front. Top and bottom of spine have the most wear. Brownish stain on spine of jacket near the bottom.
