Bound in two parts without the four preliminary pages, Contents of both parts , which are not found in all copies according to Henrey*. In contemporary unlettered sheep, blind-ruled and with later letter-piece gilt. Volume has been re-backed and cornered and with sewn end-bands. All original endpapers preserved. Folding frontispiece plate supplied in facsimile. The work is dedicated to Catherine, Lady Walpole, wife of the Prime Minister Sir Robert Walpole. Some early pages with scattered manuscript additions in a childish hand mostly to margins (see example in photos). With the book-plate of Sir Jeremiah Colman, (1st Baronet, the industrialist who developed Colman's Mustard into an international concern), to the front paste-down.
