Melvin Belli is a San Francisco trial lawyer who took on the case of Jack Ruby, the man who killed Lee Harvey Oswald. This book describes his assessments of Ruby's motives, and includes appendices offering conclusions about the entire murder case, including lab reports, hospital records, body diagrams, etc. This copy is very good+ to near fine in black cloth with gilt titles on the spine. Very slight edge wear, and slight age darkening of the text. A gift inscription to a previous owner in inki on the ffep. No other marks or damage. July 9, 1996) was a United States lawyer and writer known as "The King of Torts" and by insurance companies as "Melvin Bellicose". He had many celebrity clients, including Zsa Zsa Gabor, Errol Flynn, Chuck Berry, Muhammad Ali, The Rolling Stones, Jim Bakker and Tammy Faye Bakker, Martha Mitchell, Maureen Connolly, Lana Turner, Tony Curtis, and Mae West. During his legal career, he won over $600 million in damages for his clients. He was also the attorney for Jack Ruby, who shot Lee Harvey Oswald days after the assassination of President John F.
