A complete first edition set of A Dance to the Music of Time, comprising NINE FIRST PRINTINGS (volumes 4-12) and three later printings from 1974/75 (volumes 1-3: A Question of Upbringing, A Buyer's Market, The Acceptance World). A harmonious and handsome set that presents beautifully: all twelve books are very bright, crisp and clean: four are Fine, four are very nearly Fine, and four are Near Fine. Five volumes (A Buyer's Market, The Acceptance World, At Lady Molly's, Casanova's Chinese Restaurant, The Valley of Bones) bear the name or signature of a previous owner to the ffep; there are no further inscriptions or bookplates to any of the volumes. Each is complete with its original issue dustwrapper, all of which are at least Very Good+, with the majority Near Fine or better: notably bright and vibrant, with across the set only a little toning or rubbing apparent; eight are unclipped, one has been clipped-and-repriced by the publisher, and three are clipped.
