Overall, a terrific collection of Stephen King's acclaimed series. The Dark Tower is Stephen King's most ambitious and arguably his greatest work - an epic eight-novel series (seven main novels and an interquel, The Wind Through the Keyhole) written over a span of 30 years. It tells the story of Roland Deschain of Gilead, also known as the Last Gunslinger, who pursues the man in black, an evil figure who can resurrect the dead. King drew inspiration for the series from Robert Browning's poem "Childe Roland to the Dark Tower Came."
