Phoebe Rees and Louise Rolfe have also participated in the production of the book but I cannot decipher from the Welsh in what capacity. Perhaps they are responsible for the drawings/woodcuts that illustrate the opening of each chapter. Published by the Swyddfa'r Herald in 1903. Also David Nutt in London, Leo S Olschki in Firenze, and G E Strechert in New York. Size: 7 1/2 x 10 1/4 inches. Page number: 474 including notes. Hardcover. White cloth boards with black tiles. Two sides of the end block have deckle edges. The top edge is gilt. With full page black and white illustrations by J.Kelt Edwards; also the numerous smaller images and the decorations already mentioned. Condition: Very Good. The boards are reasonably clean, the spine grubby. the corners are bumped but not unduly worn. The end papers and the first eight pages are foxed. The last few pages are also foxed. There is foxing on some other page in the text but most are very clean, bright and un-thumbed. Some of the pages have not yet been cut. The binding is tight.…
