Loosely inserted is an invitation to Beard's "Carnets Africains" retrospective in New York in 1997. Roth 101, p. 170. Octavo. Photographs throughout, several in colour. Original grey cloth, spine and front cover lettered in gilt. With dust jacket. Endpapers and edges lightly foxed; jacket unclipped, spine toned, a handful of closed tears and chips to extremities: a near-fine copy in very good jacket.
