A propos de cet article

Very rare set of books published as the Epworth Herald Library ; an apparent Methodist related publishing organization with all books originally copyrighted and originally published by Hitchcock & Walden with copyright dates from 1873 to 1881; a first edition thus uniform set with an attractive dulled blue grey cloth binding with orange lettering slightly dulled on front and spine ; some corners slightly bumped pages are crisp as hardly turned but browned as normal with age; no internal markings and bindings are tight ;there's very slight puckering to cover on john wesley o.w. a very good plus and very rare set of uniform books that were most likely published in 1881 additional images available upon request.

Description de la boutique

Rare Reads formerly operated a storefront in The Lakewood Antiques Gallery in Atlanta, Georgia but reverted to a strictly online operation when the Gallery closed. In 2006, Rare Reads published "The Heeey Baby Days of Beach Music" which received a bronze medal from The Independent Publishers Association. Long sold out, copies of the 13 pound tribute to the musicians who created the unique R&B genre are occasionally available on ABE. The book was a collaborative effort of Rare Reads and many others including the musicians that created the sound Southerns term "Beach Music." Rare Reads is considering future publications in addition to expanding its online enterprise. Rare Reads is operated by Greg Haynes and son Reid Haynes and has warehouses in Atlanta and Athens, Georgia.…
