The book is simply, excellent, and most of the reviewers have already commented on the advantages of having a book that references thermodynamics very early on, that has solved example problems, and it covers a huge breadth of topics in excellent detail. I would not recommend this textbook to an undergraduate trying to learn fluid dynamics for the first time, unless they were very thorough and advanced in their coursework (probably a senior or junior level undergraduate looking to go on to study physics in graduate school).
