Brooke Kelly and Julia Waity, takes on the paradoxes of bountiful food supplies alongside hunger, and of obesity coexisting w/ food insecurity. Food insecurity rates that rose w/ the Great Recession had yet to fall to pre-recession levels, food pantries were stretched thin, and new state restrictions on programs like SNAP kept people from crucial government assistance.
