Complete in two 8vo volumes, [xxiv + 536pp] + [vi + 472pp]. Illustrated with a steel-engraved frontispiece and six large folding maps in the first volume and five large folding maps in the second volume. All of the maps are present, intact and in very good condition. Hardcovers, bound in priginal mauve cloth boards with paper printed title-labels to spines. Page edges are uncut. In good to very good condition overall. Contents are in great shape. Attractive bookplates inside front covers, otherwise pages are crisp, clean, and unmarked. Handwritten call numbers to bottom of spines. Bindings show wear and rubbing to extremities including splitting along front joint of the first volume. Some sunning to backstrips aand board edges.
