A propos de cet article
Illustrated. 194 pages. Reprinted many times, this a scarce copy of the 1896 true first edition. (Note: Donovan writes: "In 1897 an imprint states (incorrectly) first published in January 1897.") A book for beginners by this notable player and historian. Interesting to note that an 1890's "set" consisted of six iron headed clubs and seven wooden headed clubs. Slight fading to spine cloth otherwise a bright, clean collector condition copy. No former owner name or bookplate, no notations, underlining, marginalia, soiling, creases, tears, etc. Protected in fitted clear plastic book jacket. Size: 12mo - over 6¾" - 7¾" tall.
