His work comprises of maritime landscapes, and surrealistic still-lifes made with tempera. He was also part of the team who designed dazzle camouflage for ships for the Royal Navy during World War One.Illustrated with a monochrome frontispiece, and in-text colour and monochrome illustrations throughout.Written by Jeremy Greenwood, with an introduction by Richard Cork.With an advert for this work loosely inserted, and two tables regarding the pieces illustrated in this work loosely inserted. In the original publisher's paper covered boards, in the original slipcase. Externally, smart, with only a couple of very light marks. Internally, firmly bound. Pages are bright and clean.
