First edition, first print paperback, Bloomsbury, 1997. Internally clean, no ownership name, clean text block bar a few light marks and spots some of which penetrate to the page margin, no tears to the pages and no dog eared pages, less toning to the pages than many other examples; laminate lifting slightly to bottom edge of top and lower covers, corners lightly rubbed, two creases to top cover, otherwise wraps present well; book is slightly bowed, spine only very lightly sunned, with a reading crease. All first edition, first print pointers present: full number line (10987654321), Philosopher's mis-spelled as Philospher's on lower cover; Hogwarts School of Wizardry and Witchcraft also on lower cover, corrected for the second print to Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry . The book internally is pristine and unread. The jacket is not price-clipped. Slight toning to top edge of jacket verso; the spine is sunned.
