Clean, tight text block through out. Rich with many black and white photographs and diagrams. In yellow dust jacket, not price clipped. Fading and discolouration to spine of jacket and slightly to other edges. Creasing and slight chipping to top and bottom edges, especially at spine where a small amount of professional restoration has been done. A few small, slight soil spots on jacket. A great copy of a wonderfully interesting book. very good An interesting essay on the subject of traveling to other planets, and was undoubtedly state of the art at the time it was written. Today, given our large advances since the time it was written, it is much more interesting as a historical text, looking into what top scientists were thinking at the time.
