Synopsis :
JESUS IN HEAVEN ON EARTH
Jesus in Heaven on Earth is a detailed research work, based on scriptural, historical and archeological evidence showing that the people of Afghanistan and Kashmir belong to the ten lost tribes of the Israelites, and that Jesus, having survived death on the cross, came to this area to continue his mission among the "lost sheep" of the Israelites and died in Kashmir. The book seeks to prove that the tomb of Jesus is located in Srinagar, the capital of Kashmir, where it can be found to this day. Also extensively discussed in this volume are the sources of Christianity and of Islam, and various dogmas of the Christian church.
First published in 1952, it remains the most comprehensive treatment of the subject and has been acknowledged in all later works.
Parts of the book have been translated into German, French, Italian and Arabic. The French Academy conferred the degree of Doctor of Literature on the author. The several editions of this book which have appeared since 1952 speak of its popularity.
The famous Islamic scholar, Sayyid Rashid Rida of Egypt, wrote in his commentary of the Quran that Jesus' flight to India and his death in Srinagar is not against reason and inference.
"...a standard work of research by Khwaja Nazir Ahmad... The book is welldocumented and contains an extensive bibliography. ...contains valuable source material on the unknown life of Jesus Christ. The material pertaining to the lost ten tribes and their racial connections with the Afghans and Kashmiris is a valuable contribution to. historical research." ― Fida Hassnain and Dahan Levi, The Fifth Gospel, pages 274-275.
"...pioneering work...the fruit of ten years of labour by the erudite lawyer" ― Holger Kersten in Jesus lived in India, page 41.
