In the original burgandy cloth, gilt and green image to front center, blind tooling, bevelled edges, corners bumped a little, rear cover has 2 small holes to cloth and a spill mark near head. Spine has title in gilt, edges bumped slightly. Internally, half title, folding frontis, [7], (vi-viii), [2], [1], 2-161 pp, [1], clean and very tight. (Allibone 203. COPAC. WorldCat). Title continues: Or Chronological lists of Lords-Lieutenant, Custodes Rotulorum, Sheriffs, and Knights of the Shire for the Counties of Anglesey, Caernarvon and Merioneth. with Notes by William Watkin Edward Wynne. BREESE, antiquary, who in 1859 succeeded his uncle as clerk of the peace for the county of Merioneth and other local offices, including the management of the Madocks estate, the heir to which was a minor.
