There is an introductory history, chapters on Open Meetings, Championship Competitions, Aspects of the Game, Scratch Lady Golfers, Inter-Club Matches, Women as Golf Professionals, Ways, Manners, and Dress, etc. Beautifully illustrated cover with embossed white lettering, capitals in red, background in green with embossed black, beige and red figures of a lady golfer, a male instructor; in the background is a male caddie and the numbered hole, sky in tan above. Spine title embossed in white letters with red capitals, publisher's name in red. The lower cover corners are lightly bumped, typical pastedown offset, else a very nice, unmarked copy, quite uncommon in this condition. Covers protected in mylar. Size: 12mo - over 6¾" - 7¾" tall.
