It provides an overview of common, Roman and other legal systems, a chapter-length law dictionary and an annotated collection of 158 maxims. It is side-noted throughout to passages in books by such authors as Blackstone, Coke, Hawkins, Littleton, Montesquieu and Pufendorf. This book was reissued in Dublin in 1791.
