Available is a TRUE 1st ed/1st prtg (Stated First Edition) of LEAVING CHEYENNE, the scarce second novel by the late LARRY MCMURTRY. Published in 1963 by Harper & Row, book is NEAR FINE in light tan cloth boards w/ burnt orange and black block titles. Spine is tight and straight, boards very clean, tips sharp, all gilt intact and bright -- very nice!! There is a previous owner name written in ink to top of FFEP along with a previous owner mailing label affixed along side her name. Else, very nice and clean w/ no other interior markings. Mylar protected dust jacket is VG+ -- it is fully intact w/ light wear to tips, as well as spine crown/heel. There is also an earlier taped repair to top of spine crown, barely noticeable under new mylar sleeve. Original price of $4.50 and publication code 0963 intact on front dj flap.
