Over a series of give books, Rev. Owens dictates his experience with spirit contact through automatic writing. The first three books available here, though all individual works in there own right. Originally the vicar of Ordford in Warrington, Owen was forced out of the Church Ministry because of his spiritualist activities. After lecturing in America and the UK, he settled in London as a pastor of a Spiritualist congregation.

Three volumes. 191 + 253 + 250pp. Original brown boards, blind-stamped emblem to front, black lettering to spine, covers are quite worn with a few marks, bindings a little shaken, previous owners inscriptions to books 2 and three, slight lean to spines, hinges cracked to volume one, paper darkened, text clean.
