Sm 8vo, vi + pp186 with 6 plates by Birket Foster ("Scott farm" and "the little tambourine player" are sadly missing). Hardcover no dust jacket. Original dark blue cloth binding with gilt titles and design to front board and spine with dentelles in good condition with a little rubbing to spine and edges. Inside text block detached mostly from spine leaving some pages a little loose. All pages with top edge gilt however are in very good clean condition.

Nikki Green Books is based in Glasgow. Beth Lowell-Green is a third generation bookdealer, who along with her partner Nikki reside in sunny Glasgow. The origins of the business began with Beth's grandmother, Eve Lowell, who started The Dartmoor Bookshop in Ashburton at the back of Beth's grandfathers newsagent shop before moving to her own premises in the town. Beth spent her formative years working with her parents, who started Sue Lowell Natural History Books, based in London.
