Unpaginated [104 pp]. Colour illustrated paper covers designed by Osbert Lancaster, who also illustrates the book throughout. Slight creasing at rear corner and rubbing to spine. Internally clean. Both personal and practical, this is a witty and entertaining guide to 1950s London, written by a team of 'ardent Londonophils' to show the reader the 'under-the-surface' London; where to see a murder trial, a jazz club, where to buy caviar or visit a Turkish bath among many other adventures. Contains charming black-and-white illustrations. Oblong 12mo. N° de réf. du vendeur 73281
