1893. First Edition. 370 pages. No dust jacket. Brown cloth with gilt lettering. Black and white photographic plates. Light thumb marking, foxing and tanning to pages. More prominent to text block edges, pastedowns and free endpapers. Pen inscription to front free endpaper. Annotations, underlining and marginalia in pencil throughout; text remains unaffected. Hinges are moderately cracked causing slight looseness. Boards have minor corner bumping and edgewear with mild fraying, tanning and scuffing overall.
