With red and black marbled endpapers, and two-tone text. This volume includes a Map of a Part of the Shire facing the Title Page, a fold-out map of the West of Middle-Earth at the End of the Third Age after the text, and 44 pages of appendices, A-F, including Annals of the Kings and Rules, Chronology of the Westlands, Family Trees, Pronunciation of Words and Names, and even an appendix on Middle Earth Calendars.
