It was in the year 1820, that the author started to put the outline of this study because ? There remained some of Islam?s most important features of the wholly unexplained?. The study starts with a detailed introduction of Islam, with historical, moral and ritual analogy of Mahometanism with Judaism and Christianity. Another analogy of the Qur?an with the Bible is also given . The author discusses also the Crusaders wars, with analogy between Christianity and Mahometanism in their influences on national characters and civilisation; on industry, manufacture and commerce. #1681.
