Full dust jacket with price intact on front flap of 10s. 6d. net, offered in archival-quality Mylar protective cover. Binding is sound and square. Clean, unmarked pages throughout. Previous owner?s stamp. Previous owner?s sticker to the front endpaper, identifying E. Gordon Lawrence of Jasmine Cottage, Little Horkesley, Colchester.
Condition: Light shelf wear to boards, corners, and edges, with spine lightly sun-faded from age. Dust jacket with minor shelf wear to edges, though chipping at the spine crown. A small (library-style) number written at the lower spine of the dust jacket just above the publisher?s name. Some foxing to endpapers only, with text block clean throughout.
Contents: C. S. Lewis argues the reality of Miracles in a logical and convincing manner. Lewis begins by stating that before reaching a conclusion about miracles, one must first consider whether the occurrence of miracles is logically possible. In exploring this, other issues arise, such as the definition of nature and the true meaning of probability.
