First edition thus. Volume three only. Approximately 900pp. Contemporary leather over boards with maroon spine label gilt. Ex- Beaver Creek Library with two stamps on a front blank, faded pencil inscription on the front fly, and an owner signature on a front blank. Binding heavily worn with surface loss on the lower board, page edges and preliminary and terminal leaves heavily dampstained, although the vast majority of the text is tanned but clean, sound but good only. With an errata sheet bound in near the rear.
