Hardcover has blue cloth-covered boards with black spine lettering and black illsutration of flying gulls on the front covers. Black and white illustrations by Ilon Wikland. 216 pages. Binding tight. Hinges NOT cracked. Spine ends lightly bumped. Covers have light surface and edge wear. Top and bottom edges lightly faded where the jacket did not completely protect them from light. NO highlighting or other markings. The last two pages have a small stain just at the top edge; text unaffected. Dust jacket has light edge and surface wear, with rubbing at the corners and spine ends. Jacket spine is very slightly faded. Dust jacket is price clipped. Carefully packed, shipped in a box.
