A propos de cet article

3 decker novel in original cloth. Volume 1 has 298 pages with patterned endpapers, top of the front endpaper been cut (name removed?). Volume 2 289 pages, endpapers matching + volume 3, 290 pages again matching endpaper with name removed. Cloth worn at spine with thin patches starting and showing boards beneath in places, small white circular marks to top boards of vols 2+3. Some very mild foxing here and there, mostly at front and back. Some light corner curls. Contents all tight and very good. No circulating library labels and none removed. *Someone in pencil has written in the names of the Devon/Dartmoor places in the tale, but changed by the author to the title Perlycross. These are named as: Perliton=Ulfculme. Perlycross=Culmstock and Perlycombe=Hemyock. The authors last work and quite rare in the 3 volumes. Michael Sadlier states 3 cloth variants one being blue which these are.

Description de la boutique

We are a small, single-owner business. We have been operating on and off since 1977 and our stock is varied, leaning towards antiquarian and 19th century with the addition of original aquatint and lithographic, or woodcut engravings. Also maps and Ephemera - in fact, anything interesting on paper really. We have in stock every item we list. We do not use stock photographs, but photograph each item individually. We very rarely use "fine" or "mint" as a description, mainly due to the age and the fact that 99.9% of what we sell has been pre-owned and therefor Fine would not be a term for a book we sell despite its fine-like appearance. We always take items back unreservedly if not in the condition as described. We always try to describe fully.…
