An intriguing Miss Marple murder mystery novel from renowned crime fiction author Agatha Christie, the first edition, complete with the unclipped dust wrapper. The first edition, first impression. Bound in the publisher's cloth, with the original, unclipped dust wrapper. An intriguing work of crime fiction in which Miss Marple investigates the murder of a wealthy businessman, found with a handful of grain in his pocket. Marple soon discovers the man was not short of enemies, also realising she could be on the hunt for a murderer with a liking to nursery rhymes. Written by Queen of Crime, Agatha Christie, who is best remembered for her popular murder mystery novels, featuring much-loved characters including Miss Marple, Hercule Poirot and Captain Hastings. Bound in the publisher's cloth, with the original, unclipped dust wrapper. Externally, very smart, with a little bumping to the extremities and light marks to boards. Damp staining to the rear board fore edge. Foyle's bookseller label to front paste down. Dust wrapper is bright, with light edge wear and a few small closed tears to the extremities. Larger tear to the upper third of the backstrip. A few spots to the verso of the wrap, with a red mark to the rear flyleaf crease. Internally, firmly bound with bright, clean pages. Very Good Indeed.…
