A propos de cet article

As new, appears unread. First Edtn, first printing. Gray cloth over boards, silver font on spine. xvii + 171 pps. Dust jacket unclipped, clean, tight. Photographs and letters by John Vachon, a LIFE photographer, while he was working with United Nations Relief Fund in post war Poland. Compassion and documentation co-exist providing instantaneous insight to the plight of these people. Additionally, John's letters home, written at the same time frame as he was taking the photos, give you his words to the thoughts and emotions of this experience. Many photos are printed here for the first time.
