Collated and complete, page vi misnumbered iv but correct. viii + 724pp. Approximately 10 ½ inches tall. Condition Report Externally Spine good condition new spine to the original boards, gilt titles on red label, 5 gilt bands separating 6 compartments. Joints good condition sound, repaired. Corners poor condition bumped and worn with some loss. Boards good condition brown leather with gilt border decoration to the front and rear, there has been some wear to the gilt, scratches and marks to both boards. Page edges good condition tanned and foxed. See above and photos. Internally Hinges good condition sound. Paste downs good condition marbled. End papers good condition marbled, internal free end papers lightly tanned and foxed together with signs of moisture across the bottom of two pages which has also affected the b/w tissue guarded frontispiece. Title good condition tanned and foxed with signs of damp staining, the half title page has a black and white detailed picture of The Great Seal of England and this is also print signed George together with another signature. Pages good condition tissue guarded black and white frontispiece portrait of King George The Third, text in two columns, 16 engraved illustrations, lightly tanned with some foxing.
