A propos de cet article
Quarto. First Wyeth edition. Eight gorgeous Wyeth illustrations, including frontis. Color endpapers. Rubbing to extremities, nudged corners and spine-caps, and a little scuffing to color pastedown to front board. Single deaccession stamp to front pastedown (verso), in small font, and gift inscription and date (Xmas 1921) to front pastedown. A child's penciled, um, "enhancement" to the illustration on p. 41, and the last color illustration shows a one-inch separation along margin. All in all, a solidly bound reading copy, with the marvelous evocative illustrations of N.C. Wyeth.
