Beeler, writing as Caddo Cameron, was a prolific Western author of primarily short stories and penned only this novel and a second novel a year later. Doubleday print runs were comparatively small for both titles, and reprint rights were immediately sold to Sun Dial Press. Scarce in first edition state. Includes the rare pictorial dust jacket with $2.00 price. Tight, unmarked copy with light wrinkling to cloth at head and tail of spine panel.
