A propos de cet article

Condition Very Good: Complete two-volume set in the publisher’s original bindings. Both volumes show mild edgewear, with light rubbing and slight creasing at the spine heads and feet. Volume I displays a noticeable crease along the spine, though remains clean with gilt sharp and well-defined. Volume II shows bumping and a small crease to one board corner. Faint pale marks visible across the boards; more evident on Volume I, but boards remain clean overall, with titles bright and legible. Bindings square and firm across both volumes. Endpapers in each volume show light handling and age-related toning; portrait and frontispiece remain clean and well-preserved. Internally, pages show faint uniform toning consistent with age, otherwise clean, bright and fresh throughout. A handsome and well-preserved set.
