Omar Khayyám (18 May 1048 - 4 December 1131) was a Persian mathematician, astronomer, philosopher, and poet. [Rendered into English Verse by Edward FitzGerald (31 March 1809 - 14 June 1883)]. Illustrated by Otway McCannell [Otway McCannell FRSA RBA (1883 - 1969), also known as William Otway McCannell and W. Otway Cannell, was a British painter, illustrator, writer and Principal of Farnham School of Art].

Rubáiyát over unnumbered pages carrying the 75 quatrains of Edward FitzGerald's version enriched with 8 full-page colour illustrations and decorations by Otway McCannell. Very Good condition book, in Good condition panoramic illustrated dust wrapper with small chip to the top front cover, rubbing to the corners, not price clipped, 6/-, dust wrapper protected.
