A propos de cet article

Restoration-era pocket edition of this popular collection of speeches from the renowned ancient Greek orator - with text in both Latin and Greek for the 17th-century British student. Contemporary full calf, blind rules and cornerpieces to boards, raised bands, blind-tooled spine. Red speckled edges. Recycled printed wastepaper pastedowns. Flyleaves bound as stubs. ii, 202 pages. A few early ink shelfmarks; some pencil scribbles to flyleaves; light underlining and marginal notes in both pencil and ink. Shallow chip to rear board, some rubbing and edgewear to extremities. Loss to bottom corner of second front fly leaf; light dampstaining to text. Firm.…
