Published 1960-1961, with some titles reissued in picture-cover editions in the 1970s, these hardcovers have green patterned cloth over boards with a cameo of Sally on the phone to front cover//white lettering inside of a darker green title box to spine. A FIRST EDITION, unknown printing, c. 1960 (no date in book), this book is in VG+ condition: very clean & crisp with bright red top stain. Interior pages are modestly tanned but completely unmarked save for old bookstore stamp to ffep; all endpapers heavily foxed, as are the exterior edges of text block show heavy foxing. Binding strong & straight, hinges secure. Mild rubbing to extremities with slight bumping to both ends of spine & corners. The unclipped DJ is also VG+: bright & colorful, with just a hint of chipping & rubbing at corners; protected by former owner in nonreflective mylar cover.
